My former boss and good friend is going through an employee misconduct arbitration today. Basically, one of her employees acted like a foolish idiot, yelled at her boss, her boss's boss, and then refused to even talk to either of them for weeks.
Based on this behavior she got a 5-day unpaid suspension...9 months after the incident.
Her response...basically sum it up as it didn't happen and if it did no one told me that it was unprofessional or that I could get in trouble for that.
This woman works in a job that requires a college education and pays over $60k a year and she claiming ignorance on basic civil behavior.
This is yet another example of why you don't want the federal government in charge of everything :).
